About Me
Hi, I’m Nick Wolven.
I’m a science fiction fan and sometime science fiction author.
I used to write about politics and technology, back when it seemed like politics and technology might be on track to destroy my first love, literature.
Now things are different. It’s obvious that politics and technology will definitely destroy literature, probably in the near future.
The only thing left to do is enjoy literature as much as I can why there’s still time.
About this Publication
I have a bad habit of deleting blogs the instant they start drawing any attention.
The plan, however, is to post thoughts about fiction and literature here whenever I find that I can’t hold back.
The title, “Spinner Rack” refers to the wire racks used to display cheap paperbacks in drug stores, starting in the mid-twentieth century.
My tastes, and to some extent my views of the world, were shaped by the mass-market paperbacks of that era. I want to capture what they meant to me while there’s still time.
